Bovey man sentenced for shaking baby
The man charged with shaking two-month-old Kane Zimmerman, of Hill City, in August 2007, and ultimately causing the baby boys death was sentenced Tuesday, Aug. 11 in Aitkin County.

Project dates for steel mill extended
An updated schedule for the Essar Steel Minnesota project shows several expected completion dates pushed further into the future.

A group of Girl Scouts from Chaska traveled north this weekend to help beautify and raise awareness about the Forget-Me-Not Ranch. The Nashwauk hobby farm is home to a horseback riding program for people with disabilities.
