Grand Rapids Area Library Website Survey

Grand Rapids Area Library needs your input! Library staff is in the process of planning changes to the website and we are interested in your feedback and suggestions. Please take a few moments to complete a short survey linked to the library homepage at www.grandrapids.lib.mn.us (just to the left of "Library Services and Policies") Thanks!

September is Library Card Sign Up Month!

If you don't have a library card, come in to sign up for one. If you have lost yours, or if your card is getting worn, come in for a new one! Replacement library cards are free in September! New cards are always free! It is much easier and faster for us to scan your card than to look up your name or type in a number. Save yourself time and help us out by replacing a lost or worn card and always bringing it to the Library.

If your card is fine, encourage a friend or neighbor to get a card. It's the best deal in town! Kids getting a new card can take it to the Children's Department to pick out a free book!

Mondays , 9:30 and 10:30 am:

Booktimes presented by Early Childhood and Family Education for preschoolers and their families will start again. They will continue each Monday during the school year.

Library blog

We are playing with a blog at www.grandrapidsarealibrary.blogspot.com It has events, announcements, pictures, new books and a calendar. Take a look at it, post a comment and let us know what you think!

Bike Locks Available

We now have bike locks available at the library for use while you are in the building. Ask at the Circulation desk. Bikes have been stolen from outside the building, so locking your bike to the bike rack is a good idea.

Find more details for all these events on the Library's web site at www.grandrapids.lib.mn.us or pick up a calendar of events at the library, or call the Library at 326-7640.

Follow the directions below to take yourself off this email list.
