United Way of 1000 Lakes Reaches 30% Mark
United Way of 1000 Lakes Reaches 30% Mark
United Way Board President, Laura Connelly, Advocates for Family Peace and Board Member, Ryan Davis, DC, Davis Chiropractic posted the 30% mark on the United Way Thermometer located at Old Central School in Grand Rapids. To date the campaign has raised $95,500 towards its $305,000 goal. United Way brought back the thermometer in celebration of their fiftieth anniversary. Since 1963, United Way of 1000 Lakes, its supporters and volunteers, have raised $10 million to help those in need and strengthen the Itasca community. Thank you to Edward and Jennifer Eck of Eck designs, who provide the thermometer in-kind. Enbridge Pipeline Maintenance will Cause Road Delays in Grand Rapids
Attention Grand Rapids motorists, as part of Enbridge's ongoing integrity program, a section of pipeline running through the area will undergo routine maintenance over the next few weeks.
Motorists driving north on Northwest 8th Avenue East just north of 16th Street will be detoured around the area.
Enbridge apologizes for any temporary inconveniences and asks you to please use caution and expect delays when driving near this area.
